Oberthur Technologies named sole supplier to Swedbank

Oberthur Technologies the world’s second largest supplier of smart cards has signed a six year contract with Swedbank, the leading bank in Scandinavia and the Baltic region.

This new agreement means that Oberthur Technologies will deliver all types of payment cards to the Swedbank Group globally. Oberthur Technologies previously delivered cards for the Swedish market, and this new contract now includes supplying the Baltic countries, the rest of Scandanavia, Russia and Ukraine.
