Observe Medical continues the roll-out of Sippi® - signs distribution agreement for launch in Poland and Romania
Oslo June 30, 2021 – Observe Medical ASA (OSE: OBSRV), today announces that it has entered into a distribution agreement and partnership with Skamex (Poland) for the launch of Sippi® in the Polish and the Romanian market.
“We are pleased to announce that we are taking additional steps in the roll-out of Sippi® through our partnership with Skamex and the signing of the distribution agreement for Poland and Romania. Skamex is one of the leading distributors of medical equipment in Poland and Romania, two significant markets with together over 6.800 ICU beds,” says Björn Larsson, CEO of Observe Medical.
Observe Medical's product Sippi® is the only automated digital urine meter with possibility for wireless data transfer to the hospital patient data management systems and hinders biofilm formation (Sippcoat®), that can lead to urinary infections. Sippi® is currently being launched with focus on the clinical rollout in the Nordics and in selected European countries.
“The COVID-19 pandemic is highlighting the need for increased efficiency in intensive care units and other departments in hospitals, as well as the need for accurate patient data, and to prevent and manage hospital acquired infections. Sippi® is an innovative solution that addresses these major challenges,” says Larsson and concludes:
