Learning to Give Back During College for Kids

Summer kids’ camps, including College for Kids at OCCC, are in full swing, providing great opportunities for kids and teens. This summer, seventh and eighth grade students are learning the importance of giving as they help raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand, the Foundation for Childhood Cancer. The next “Giving Back” class is set for July 9-13 from 1 to 3 p.m., and will also teach students all aspects of fundraising, planning and promoting an event.
