Odfjell SE today published its Annual Report for 2022.


2022 highlights:

  • Net result of USD 142 million, the strongest annual result since 2008
  • EBIT of USD 224 million, compared to USD 47 million in 2021
  • Total dividend of USD 66 million for FY 2022 based on the company’s new dividend policy
  • Improved contract portfolio and a fourth consecutive year of positive CoA renewals for Odfjell Tankers
  • Odfjell Terminals perform well, delivering healthy financial results and activity levels across the portfolio
  • Decarbonization continues: Carbon intensity for Odfjell’s controlled fleet was reduced by another 5,5%, now 49% lower than the 2008 reference value

“2022 was yet another year of contrasts. Geopolitical tension and a persistent Covid pandemic led to global unpredictability and deeply affected our markets, operations, and people. At the same time, we experienced a year of encouraging market developments, strong fundamentals, and safe, efficient operations, leading to one of the strongest annual results in Odfjell’s history,” CEO Harald Fotland said.
