ODIM STRENGTHENS GROUP MANAGEMENT

(Hareid – 4 April 2008): ODIM ASA has appointed Bjørn Roger Andersen (47) as senior vice president global after sales and service, and Ståle Hoff (40) as senior vice president human resources. These appointments form part of ODIM’s growth strategy.

Mr Andersen is currently vice president for after sales in Rolls-Royce Marine at Ulsteinvik in Norway, responsible for the company’s international after sales activity in the propulsion, automation and controls area.

“As our vice president for global after sales and service, Mr Andersen will be responsible for an important growth area,” observes ODIM chief executive Jogeir Romestrand.

“We have a strong commitment to developing an even stronger international network to satisfy customer needs for service. Given Mr Andersen’s experience and qualifications, I’m convinced he’ll contribute to this development.”

Mr Hoff currently manages the Siemens human resources department in Trondheim, with responsibility for expertise and management development in the Nordic and Baltic regions.

“He will play an important part in developing our human capital as our most important competitive edge,” says Mr Romestrand.

“Mr Hoff will strengthen our existing human resources team, and his qualifications will contribute to the continuous development of our organisation and international growth.”
