Financial report first quarter January-March 2004 Increased profit for OEM the first quarter OEM International increased the profit for the first quarter 2004 to 19,1 SEK Million (17,8). This despite a continued low demand with 9 % less turnover from 390 to 355 SEK Million. The decrease in turnover is due to a lower level of turnover within the electronic- and telecom related units together with a loss in turnover from disposed units. The improved profit relates to an aggressive market activity together with carried out efforts on rationalisations and co-ordination within the OEM Group. The quarter is charged with costs related to the disposal of About Communication AB with 2,8 SEK Million. - The actions to improve the efficiency in the operating units and change the corporate structure starts to show result.
