New OKI A3 and A4 Printers Impressed Channel Partners throughout North America

Mount Laurel, NJ (December 19, 2013) — OKI Data Americas recently concluded its successful “Game Changer Tour 2013” – a roadshow that kicked-off on September 17 in Boston, MA, and visited 20 cities within the U.S. and Canada, concluding November 19 in Irvine, CA. The events were hosted by OKI personnel and provided interactive and hands-on demonstrations of the company’s impressive new A3 and A4 devices for the more than 300 office technology dealers and solution providers that attended.

Reaction to the new devices was positive, and channel interest has increased as a result. Of particular interest was the new C941dn – part of the new C900 Series within the Multimedia Production Platform. The C941dn is a revolutionary new LED digital color printer that features a five station toner configuration with cyan, magenta, yellow and black, plus white or clear in the fifth position. In addition, the C941dn boasts game-changing media handling capabilities that includes transparent media, magnets, banners and heavyweight card stock, all within a single, compact unit.

One participant was particularly pleased with the performance of OKI’s new C900 Series, reporting that all sample stocks he brought to the event were printed brilliantly. That sentiment was echoed by other office technology dealers in attendance, including one who shared that the event was very well done and that their clients were impressed by all the new products.

“The Game Changer Tour 2013 was a great success for OKI Data Americas,” said Carl Taylor, Vice President of Marketing for Oki Data Americas, Inc. “OKI Data understands the importance of personal engagement with our customers. Likewise, our customers value the opportunity to see and have hands-on access to these impressive new devices.”

Other new printers and multifunction devices demonstrated during the Game Changer Tour 2013 included the MC780fx and MB770 – two full-featured, A4 color and monochrome MFPs, respectively, supporting OKI’s smart Extendable Platform; and the MC562w MFP that delivers large paper capacity, fast print speeds, duplex printing capabilities, high-definition color technology, media handling flexibility and compact design. The MC562w also supports AirPrint™ which allows users to wirelessly print from iPad®, iPhone®, and iPod touch® devices with ease, improving both productivity and convenience.

These new devices expand upon OKI Data’s broad and award-winning product portfolio, delivering advanced feature sets, versatility and improved functionality – all at a low total cost of ownership.

“Our channel partners throughout North America agree that these new OKI printers and MFPs will deliver additional revenue-generating opportunities with their enhanced features, capabilities and performance,” Taylor concluded.

The Game Changer Tour visited 20 cities within the U.S. and Canada, including: Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Toronto, ON; Mt. Laurel, NJ; Cincinnati, OH; St. Louis, MO; Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Montreal, QC; Orlando, FL; Jacksonville, FL; Calgary, AB; Chicago, IL; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Minneapolis, MN; Cleveland, OH; Vancouver, BC; and Irvine, CA.
