Business improvement specialists, Oliver Wight, are hosting the next seminar in their thought leadership series, titled ‘Predictability out of complexity: Planning for growth in a volatile environment’. The event is for senior executives, to be held at The Belfry Hotel, West Midlands, on May 20th 2015, looking to improve their business performance post-recession.

Analyst firm Gartner predicts that 69 percent of organisations will increase their spending on Integrated Business Planning (IBP)/S&OP in the ‘next 6-12 months’. During the seminar, Oliver Wight thought leaders will address both current practises in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, as well as the future of IBP for organisations facing the challenges that come with growing a business in a volatile economic climate.

“Not all IBP processes are created equal. Get off to the wrong start and at best, you will only have disillusionment and a large expenditure to show for it,” explains Oliver Wight Partner, Liam Harrington. “Businesses need to take their Integrated Business Planning process to the next level of maturity if they are to avoid being left behind by the competition.”

Senior executives will review the key principles behind Integrated Business Planning, and learn how to implement it to meet demand in the most efficient and profitable way. Delegates will also be taught how to integrate what they’ve learnt into their entire organisation, not just the supply chain, as well as pursuing collaborative IBP to deliver tangible business benefits.

“Integrated Business Planning helped us to manage, optimise and integrate our plans into the supply chain so that we felt in control of our business,” says Managing Director of Quality Furniture Company, David Bramwell, who has been working with Oliver Wight for almost a decade. “Without Oliver Wight, we simply wouldn’t be here now.”

There are just 60 places available for this event, which includes a networking lunch. For more information, please contact Zowie Newman at zowie.newman@oliverwight-eame.com and/or +44 (0) 1452 397220.
