The conference, held at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Amsterdam from the 3rd to 5th of February, provides delegates with an overview of how to improve profitability, long-term business planning and process efficiency by advancing to IBP.

Oliver Wight are the originators of both S&OP and Integrated Business Planning, and Oliver Wight Associate Liam Harrington will be presenting at 11am on the 3rd of February on ‘The Successful Transition from S&OP to Integrated Business Planning’. This inspirational session will give delegates an understanding of how:

  • To gain absolute control over all demand, production and supply chain activities as well as substantial benefits to the bottom line through a properly integrated S&OP process
  • Integrated Business Planning is the 24 month rolling horizon for the business, with a month-by-month projection of realistic business performance against the plan
  • IBP allows the company’s most senior executive to identify performance gaps and do something about them in good time with added value.

“Integrated Business Planning provides the perfect platform for innovation, and it creates opportunities for organisations to drive sales up and costs down,” explains Harrington.  “It gives the senior executive team an accurate and holistic view of the entire business over a 24 to 36 month horizon, which makes it a particular asset in the current business environment.”
