Supply chain design and optimization specialists, Oliver Wight, will be offering their expertise at the Supply Chain Forum in Northamptonshire on 4th March 2014.

Through a series of industry keynote presentations, interactive workshops and discussion groups, the one-day event will provide senior industry professionals with access to new ideas, solutions and innovations to help achieve superior supply chain performance.

“Now more than ever, the health of an organisation depends on its ability to successfully meet customers’ needs; profitably. The companies that will thrive are those which effectively develop specific supply chain responses based on market or customer segmentation,” says Oliver Wight Managing Partner, Kirsty Braines, who will be presenting at the event.

As well as covering the hot topic of supply chain segmentation, Braines’ presentation will focus on the importance of strategic supply chain collaboration and optimization; exploring the latest best practice thinking on how to manage and control the complexity of supply chains in today’s world.

Braines will also host a series of one-to-one meetings with delegates to address the specific supply chain issues they are experiencing and provide practical, proven advice.

“Companies that optimize their supply chains improve their perfect order rating by 17%, at the same time as reducing supply chain costs by up to 50%. In today’s economy that’s an advantage worth taking,” concludes Braines.

The event takes place in Whittlebury Hall on 4th March. For more information contact Zoe Davis on +44 (0) 1452 397209 or zoe.davis@oliverwight-eame.com or visit http://www.logisticsforum.co.uk/Spring-Conference.aspx
