PETERBOROUGH PR EXPERT TO TALK AT BUSINESS CLUB’S FIRST MEETING

Local journalist, editor and PR consultant Mike Holland of OlsenMetrix Marketing is the guest speaker at the first-ever meeting of the Positive Networking business club in Peterborough. 

It starts at 18:00 on Thursday 14 January in the Dragonfly Hotel in Peterborough. 

In a presentation titled “Getting free publicity in the media”, Mike will provide useable hints and tips for getting positive coverage for businesses in newspapers, magazines and websites. 

Positive Networking has been formed from a merger between the Business Club in Lincoln and the Inspired Business Club in Peterborough – and the event in January is the first meeting of the new club. 

Non-members are welcome to attend – there is no charge for coming to an initial meeting to see what the organisation offers its members. 

Mike Holland said: “Every business has stories to tell but you have to tell them in a way that meets your business objectives as well as the demands of the media. Happily, I can show you some really simple techniques for doing that.  

“At the end of the presentation you will know what journalists are looking for and how to provide it. You will be ready to issue your first press release next morning!”
