Olvi Group has agreed to acquire a 51% majority share in Brewery International, a well-established group of companies importing and distributing beverages in Norway and Sweden, with an option to acquire the remaining shares later. The business group consists of Brewery International companies, focusing on brewery products, and Mission Wine & Spirits companies, specialising in quality wines and spirits. This acquisition further aligns with Olvi Group’s strategic branded partnership growth targets, strengthens its geographical presence in the Nordics, and creates the foundation for new growth opportunities across the region. The transaction is expected to be completed in January 2026.

Brewery International is one of the leading importers of beer and other premium beverages in the Nordics, operating both in Sweden and Norway. The business group also includes Mission Wine & Spirits companies in both countries, specializing in importing and distributing wines and spirits.

This is yet another step in advancing our strategic vision to become the most wanted multi-local beverage house. It aligns with our target of developing our multi-beverage portfolio and growing internationally through branded partnerships. We already have a strong foothold in Northern Europe through our existing domestic markets, and this acquisition further expands our presence across the Nordics, creating synergies with our current export operations,” says Patrik Lundell, Olvi Group CEO.

“The acquisition enhances our portfolio with leading global brands and strengthens the distribution of Olvi Group’s products in Norway and Sweden, creating the foundation for growth through stronger market access.”

In total, the companies employ 29 people, and their revenue in 2024 was EUR 22 million.

We are excited to join Olvi Group and start our growth journey together. They are a strong multi-beverage operator with deep expertise, a broad portfolio, strong brands, and robust local operations across Europe. Together, we can accelerate growth and unlock significant new opportunities that will benefit our customers and partners alike,” says Geir Erevik, CEO Brewery International AS.

Premium selection across categories and channels

The business group is known for its wide selection of premium drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, across various beverage categories. Brewery International is especially known for representing leading global beer brands such as San Miguel. In addition, it holds a strong position in the cider, RTD, soft drink, and energy drink categories. Mission Wine & Spirit companies focus on importing and distributing wines and spirits from esteemed producers from around the world.

They also have a broad customer base and a strong cross-channel presence, covering grocery retail, the on-trade sector, and monopoly markets.

They are multi-beverage operators with solid market positions, extensive multi-channel reach, and long-standing partnerships with producers, and we are delighted to welcome them to Olvi Group. This acquisition makes us an even more attractive and valued choice for existing and future partners. Together, we will bring our combined Nordic expertise to a wider market, serving local customers with an extensive and tailored selection, paving the way for ambitious future growth,” concludes Lundell.

The transaction is expected to be completed in January 2026. The value and the terms are not disclosed.
