It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Kevin Magnussen has accepted to join the board of directors of Omnicar Holding AB.
Magnussen who left Formula 1 at the end of 2020 is one of three ex-F1 drivers to be confirmed by Peugeot for their World Endurance Championship comeback.
Claus T. Hansen, CEO of OmniCar Holding AB, says: “We are very excited about welcoming KM as a board member. KM has an outstanding reputation in the automotive industry. At a very young age his dedication, ambitions and hard work placed him among some of the best racing drivers in the world. KM has an extensive network within the automotive industry with close ties to automotive executives in Europe, which will support our international ambitions to expand our business across Europe. KM will be a great addition to OmniCar, and with his expertise and connections he will help us reach our goals”.
KM says: “I am very excited about joining OmniCar; why not avoid the hassle of taking your vehicle for service when OmnicarService can come to your home or work at the time you prefer. Ever since my young days, I have been involved in the automotive industry and I know how important it is to maintain high standards and top quality. I have from the early days of Omnicar been impressed by the high rating Omnicarservice receives from its customers. I look forward to working on the board and help Claus and the team achieve optimal mobility and service solutions for our customers and the market in general and Omnicar Holding AB achieve sustainable profitable growth and create long-term shareholder value”.
KM will be replacing Mikkel Lippmann.
The above is subject to approval at the next EGM (no date yet).
