OmniCar Receives ISO 14011 & ISO 45001 Environmental Management Certification
OmniCar Holding AB ("the Company"), a technology solutions provider empowering the auto industry, today announced that it has received International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001 and 45001 certification for its quality management system. The accreditation certifies that OmniCar is complying and operating with a framework that allows for sustainable business practices.
Chairman of the board Claus T. Hansen added, “OmniCar is an environmentally responsible company and the first mobile car service company in Denmark to receive both certifications. We created ‘OmniCar Academy,’ which is a management system used by our teams that enables real time communication related to training, instructions, and employee handbooks. We are very proud of this milestone and committed to a future where we operate with a sustainable work process that reduces negative environmental impact.”
ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organization seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.
ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance.
