OmniCar sees major growth during 2022 – The company targets a revenue of approximately SEK 135 million by the end of 2022 on a yearly rolling basis. An increase of 440% YoY growth.
BACKGROUND:
Since the launch of OmniCarService (OCS) back in October 2020, the company has seen tremendous feedback from customers with a continuous growth on a monthly basis. After 12 months of operation, OCS is the highest customer rated workshop in Denmark.
GOALS FOR OCS DURING 2022:
The roadmap for OCS during 2022 and onwards looks as the following:
- Represented in all of the bigger cities in Denmark during 2022.
- A total of 20 vans in Denmark by the end of 2022.
- An international expansion that will be decided on during 2022.
- Long-term goal in 2024 to have 75 vans in a minimum of three countries.
- Estimation that one van will bring in a monthly revenue of SEK 240.000.
OCS targets the private and corporate markets with clients such as BNP Paribas/Arval with a portfolio of more than 3 million cars, FDM which is Denmark’s largest organization group for car owners with more than 260.000 members.
NEW BUSINESS LINE – Online marketplace for cars
OmniCar will during the first quarter of 2022 enter the field of car sales – purely by using an online approach.
Globally, the digital service space for buying and selling pre-owned cars has raised almost USD 6 billion during the first half of 2021. Companies such as Cazoo, Carvana, Auto1 and Carro have all experienced exceptional growth since their inception.
With benefitting from the existing service infrastructure (via OCS) the company believes that it has a significant competitive edge in entering this market. By introducing our sales platform, the company is able to cater to the customers’ needs throughout the whole life cycle of owning a car.
The company will focus on electric and hybrid cars and wish to take a green and an environmental approach towards the market, 50% of all car owners consider this type of car over petrol/diesel ones for their next purchase.
The launch of the new sales platform will take place during the first quarter of 2022 and it is estimated that during the first year of operation the company will be able to sell 500 cars with an average price of SEK 150.000 per sold car. By the end of 2024 it is estimated that 10.000 cars will be sold through the platform on a yearly rolling basis.
THE OMNICAR ECOSYSTEM
In addition to the actual car sales, OmniCar is aiming to create an ecosystem by offering and bundling the car sales with related products and services such as car insurances, financing, battery packs, road assistance and service-related functions through our existing setup within OCS.
