SPDEI names Omron best emech supplier in 2013
Hoofddorp, Netherlands, 10 January 2014 - Omron Electronic Components Europe has for the third time received an award as the best electro-mechanical supplier of the year from the French association of electronic component distributors, SPDEI (Syndicat Professionel de la distribution en Electronique Industrielle).
The SPDEI, which represents 25 franchised French distributors of electronic components, annually recognises suppliers across the industry for exceptional involvement with distribution, including close business relationships and high standards of design in and logistical support.
Commenting Alex Grout, European Distribution Manager at Omron said, “We are delighted once again to have been chosen from amongst four leading suppliers to receive the SPDEI’s distinguished electro-mechanical supplier of the year award. The 18th Trophées du SPDEI ceremony took place in Paris and was attended by more than 100 industry professionals from component suppliers, distributors and customers. Over 30 companies were shortlisted for the nine SPDEI awards which cover the following categories: optoelectronics, discrete semiconductors, analogue, high end digital, passive, connector, cables and accessories, electromechanical and energy.
