All-time high • The value of daily share trading reached an all-time high on April 21 amounting to EUR 7,957 million. (Previous record: EUR 7,725 million on January 26, 2006). • The number of share trades on OMX’s exchanges reached an all-time high on April 27 amounting to 161,969 trades per day (previous record: 152,282 trades on April 25, 2006). • The daily trading volume in derivatives trading on OMX’s exchanges reached an all-time high on April 21 amounting to 1 989 325 contracts. (Previous record: 1 493 609 contracts, on February 6, 2004). • The value of average daily share trading amounted to EUR 5,002 million (Previous record: EUR 4,518 million on January, 2006). • The average number of trades per business day amounted to 128,031 (Previous record: 120,749 trades per day on February, 2006). • The average daily trading volume in derivatives trading on OMX’s exchanges reached an all-time high in April amounting to 759,890 contracts. (Previous record: 661 934 contracts, January, 2006). Trading on OMX’s exchanges • The value of average daily share trading amounted to EUR 5,002 million (during the past 12-month period: EUR 3,465 million). • The average number of trades per business day amounted to 128,031 (during the past 12-month period: 97,592). • The average daily trading volume in Swedish, Finnish and Danish equity and fixed-income derivative products amounted to 759,890 contracts (during the past 12-month period: 529,484).
