[Stockholm, Sweden, June 19, 2007.] Liseberg, the largest amusement park in the Nordic region, has purchased and installed software based on open source from op5 for control and measurability of its IT systems. Liseberg, in central Gothenburg on Sweden’s west coast, has purchased op5’s three products op5 Monitor, op5 Statistics and op5 LogServer.

By implementing op5’s systems, Liseberg has obtained a centralized and web based measurability of their internal part-systems, e.g. customer bookings, cash systems, information systems, and internet sales. It is of hightest importance for Liseberg to be able to control its IT environment in detail since operations are so concentrated to the summer months. Should something go wrong, the IT department receives a swift indication of the nature and location of the problem, and can rectify it immediately with a minimal effect on customer service and business.

Liseberg uses op5’s products on a group level. Part of the Liseberg AB group are the amusement park Liseberg (the largest amusement park in Scandinavia with 35 attractions) and its three subsidiaries Liseberg Gäst AB with camping and conferencing, Hotell Liseberg Heden and Lisebergs Restaurant AB which operates all restaurants within Liseberg and the show venue Rondo. The number of staff is approx. 360 which during the summer months grows to close to 3 000. See www.liseberg.com.

”op5’s products fulfil our high demands for function, security and flexibility. Especially op5’s statistics module is fantastic; We can look for past errors, get a comprehensive picture of all events and thus improve our IT environment. op5 delivered a quick installation and it is an advantage that they have an office in Gothenburg”, said Anders Broman, IT Manager, Liseberg.
