Brand NEW Lagaria becomes 51st member of Peligoni portfolio

Specialising in luxury villa holidays and with the added benefit of a members only ‘Club’ area, The Peligoni Club on the glittering Greek island of Zakynthos, is delighted to announce the arrival of its newest member, Lagaria, now available for bookings from 20th July 2014.

With finishing touches currently underway, the stunning Provençale-style villa will accommodate up to 12 guests and is just a short ten minute drive from the facilities of The Peligoni Club. Offering everything a family or group of friends might need for a relaxing break under the warming Greek sun, Lagaria is a taste of paradise tucked away among olive and cypress trees, boasting some of the best outdoor spaces that Peligoni has to offer.

Lagaria offers prime views over the Ionian Ocean, best captured from the generous balcony of the Master Bedroom.  All six bedrooms have been gifted with spacious en-suite bathrooms and breath-taking design – and when it comes to finding a secluded spot to unwind, guests will be spoiled for choice. The villa boasts a jaw-dropping outdoor living area, with plenty of inviting sofas, iPod docked outside speakers, fabulous mood lighting and a log-burning stove.

The true pièce de résistance however, is the jaw-dropping pool that lies smilingly among the greenery of the gardens and chill-out area. Large, sweeping steps lead guests from the villa interior to a picturesque terrace framing the 13.5m x 6m mosaic lined pool, as well as a heated Jacuzzi that sits up to 10. Comfortable sun loungers, day beds and a bar line the pool area, and for those looking to do more than simply lounge around there is a boules court, a full sized table tennis table and other outdoor games to keep guests amused during their stay (full WiFi is also available throughout the villa).

Lagaria also offers a generous al-fresco dining area housed beneath an atmospheric wooden pagoda, perfect for long, summer evenings where guests might choose to cook up a storm on either a full-sized gas BBQ or in the authentic wood-burning stove provided. Should it be required, the villa also offers a large self-contained apartment, complete with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge area. With a playroom and extensive amenities available suitable for young children, this outdoor space might be used for an au pair or nanny - or even grandparents should they want a little extra privacy.

All guests staying in Lagaria will have the opportunity to become members of The Peligoni Club during their time on the island giving them exclusive access to the nearby social hub that offers unrivalled sailing and windsurfing, as well as a tennis court and spa for villa guests, plus a restaurant and bar that serve food and drinks all day. Peligoni’s Villa Hosts will also be on call to prepare and cook bespoke meals at the villa so you needn’t lift a finger (they’ll also do all the clearing up too!)

Peligoni (www.peligoni.com; 020 8740 3001) offer a range of accommodation including farmhouses, villas, simple studios and boutique rooms sleeping 2 – 20. Lagaria (sleeps 12) is available for 2014 bookings from £5,000 for the week (accommodation only). Membership to ‘The Club’ along with use of all watersports & sailing facilities is available from £120pp (£60 without watersports).
