A Birmingham specialist eye hospital is launching eyelid surgery to help people improve their look.

To mark the launch Optegra Birmingham Eye Hospital is hosting an open evening to introduce local people to its recently appointed ophthalmic surgeon, Miss Julia Sen.

As well as vision correction surgery and treatment of medical eye conditions, Optegra’s new offering ensures local people can look and feel good about themselves – in more ways than one!

Come and enjoy the free open evening on Thursday 26 February from 6.30pm, where guests can enjoy complimentary wine, canapés and discussions with a leading eyelid surgeon.

Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon Miss Julia Sen will talk through ways people can tackle droopy eyelids, eye bags and lumps and bumps around the eye area.

Stacey Brough, Hospital Director at Optegra Birmingham Eye Hospital, said: “Many of us think about our image and what we may like to improve. Often that includes getting rid of glasses and contact lenses, and so we are keen to let people know about the great options available to do just that here in Birmingham.  And as many of our patients have enjoyed improved vision, we have noticed demand for other procedures as they also wish to improve their confidence and image.

“We are delighted to have recently appointed surgeon Julia Sen, an expert in oculoplastics, and are able to launch our latest range of treatments.”

Taking place on Thursday 26 January, starting 6.30pm, the event will take place at Optegra Birmingham Eye Hospital within the city centre; guests will be welcomed with canapés and drinks.
