Papyrus acquires Inapa Switzerland, and completes the sale of its French business
Papyrus AB has signed and completed an acquisition of Inapa Schweiz AG, comprising Inapa’s entire business in Switzerland, from Inapa Group. In 2015, Inapa Schweiz AG had revenues of approximately EUR 52 million.
“Papyrus already has a successful business in Switzerland today. We are now delighted to welcome the customers and employees of Inapa Schweiz to Papyrus, where they will join a highly experienced team under the leadership of Peter Meier. We look forward to building further on our strengths in the important Swiss market, and to providing an even broader range of services and solutions to all our customers throughout Switzerland,” says Christoph Sander, Chairman and CEO of Papyrus.
At the same time, Papyrus has completed the sale of Papyrus France Holding SAS, comprising the Group’s entire French business, to the Inapa Group. Papyrus announced in September this year that it was exploring different options for its French business. Following approvals from the French competition authority and the works council of both companies, this has now been completed.
“We have been impressed with Inapa’s strategy to strengthen and develop their existing businesses in France, and believe that the combination of both businesses will provide a stronger and more stable future. I am sure that everyone in Papyrus will want to join me in saying a fond farewell to all our employees and customers in France, and to wish them the very best for their new journey under Inapa ownership,” says Christoph Sander, and continues. “By building on our strengths and investing in our existing businesses, these transactions are part of a new and accelerated strategy for Papyrus to transform the Group into a leading provider of services and solutions for our customers.”
