Papyrus acquires Siisti-Piste Oy to expand its business in Finland within cleaning and hygiene supplies

Papyrus has acquired 100% of the shares in Siisti-Piste Oy in Finland, a full service wholesaler within professional cleaning and hygiene products. The company, which is serving the public sector cleaning and companies with both direct deliveries and a cash & carry, will become part of the Papyrus Supplies business area.

The company has a turnover of EUR 9 million and a strong local presence in southern Finland. With the acquisition of Siisti-Piste Oy, Papyrus gains a number one position in the Finnish market for the segment of cleaning and hygiene supplies. The all-cash acquisition was completed on December 17, 2012.

The acquisition of Siisti-Piste Oy is an important complement to strengthening Papyrus position in the area of facility supplies in the Nordic region, and is in line with the two previous acquisitions in Sweden of StädgrossImporten in Stockholm and StädCentralen in Gothenburg. Both coampleted in 2011.
