SIEMENS AND OPTOVENT SIGN LETTER OF INTENT Final agreement to be signed by end of year Taby, Sweden, June 27, 2002 -- Optovent AB announces the signing of a letter of intent with the Electromedical Systems Division of Siemens Medical Solutions, Inc. to provide Siemens with Optovent FORE technology for respiratory monitoring. Siemens is presently evaluating Optovent FORE technology for integration into its future product development.
