Vehicle inspection contract in Colorado signed

Envirotest Systems Corp. (Envirotest) has signed an exclusive contract with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to continue operating the centralized vehicle inspection program for the State of Colorado.

The new contract is expected to start in January 2015 and has a contract period of five years. The contract may be extended for an additional six years (2 + 4 years) at the discretion of the state of Colorado.

Opus Group’s acquisition of Envirotest is expected to close as soon as possible. The order value of the contract is not disclosed due to competitive reasons.
