KIRIT JOINS TO HELP OPUS GROWTH

Specialist oil firm Opus has appointed renowned ecotoxicologist Dr Kirit Wadhia as a principal environmental consultant.

Dr Wadhia, who was latterly ecotoxicology services manager with microbiology and chemical analysis company NCIMB Ltd, will split his time between his home in Sheffield and Opus’ testing and development facilities in Flotta in Orkney.

Opus specialises in treatments for oil separation and produced water which is a by-product of petroleum production. The firm, which has its headquarters in Guildford in Surrey and testing/development facilities in Flotta, marks its 20th anniversary this year with plans for further growth.
