Orc rolls out connectivity to Lime Brokerage’s low-latency trading infrastructure
Chicago & New York, Monday, February 7, 2011 – Orc Software (SSE: ORC), a leading provider of technology and services for the global financial industry, announced today that it will offer connectivity between its trading platform and Lime Brokerage, an independent agency broker and a leading provider of high-throughput, low-latency technologies to the professional trading community. Connectivity to Lime’s low-latency infrastructure will provide high frequency and other latency-sensitive traders with high-performance access to the U.S. equities, options and futures markets.
Clients of both Orc and Lime will be able to take advantage of Lime’s infrastructure, built for high-frequency traders, and connect to numerous markets with one interface. Orc’s high-performance trading platform will let these clients build and deploy their high-frequency trading strategies quickly and leverage their strategies from one market and instrument to another. As part of the roll out, Orc will also be integrating Lime’s ultra-low latency Citrius™ market data into its trading platform.
