Rosenthal Collins Group to offer Orc Trading suite to futures clients and traders
Chicago, Monday, September 19, 2011 – Orc Group (SSE: ORC), a leading provider of technology and services for the global financial industry, announced today an agreement with Rosenthal Collins Group, LLC (RCG), a leading futures commission merchant, to offer Orc’s solutions to RCG’s global client base. The order was booked in Q1, 2011, and the contract is based on Orc’s licensing subscription model.
RCG will add the Orc Trading suite of products to its technology offerings for clients, giving them a high-performance trading solution for advanced futures spread trading, options on futures trading, market making, and other low-latency trading strategies. Orc Spreader serves traders needing a fast futures spread trading solution; Orc Market Maker is designed for options market makers, including options on futures traders; and Orc Liquidator addresses the needs of professional traders who wish to deploy custom trading strategies.
