Next Generation Control Point (NGCP) wins “Best Deployment” award for increasing operator billing performance by 300% while OS.Automotive takes “Advanced Connectivity” honours for in-car innovation

Paderborn (Germany), 23 May 2012: Orga Systems, #1 choice for real-time charging and billing, won two awards at the prestigious Pipeline Innovation Awards 2012, announced 21 May. Orga Systems won the “Best Deployment” category for its Next Generation Control Point (NGCP) unified charging and billing platform, which helped Ukrainian operator, life:) increase charging performance by 300% and drop customer complaints by 75%. Orga Systems also received the “Advanced Connectivity” award for its OS.Automotive in-car service billing innovations for a leading car manufacturer’s connected cars.

Dubbed the most credible and objective endorsement of innovation in the communications technology industry, the Pipeline 2012 Innovation Awards winners were announced at an exclusive reception in Dublin, Ireland. Designed to celebrate next-generation companies for advancements in technologies, products and deployments, the awards saw 70 companies apply for nominations in ten categories with 20 organisations being announced as winners.

Made up of leading global service providers, the judging panel gave Orga Systems the “Best Deployment” award, which recognised the most innovative customer deployment based upon creative solutions with tangible return-on-investment results for customers. The team also selected Orga Systems as the winner for the “Advanced Connectivity” award, acknowledging its advancements in connected machine-to-machine (M2M) technology, vehicles, enterprises and homes.

Ukrainian GSM operator, life:) was looking for one service control platform to help port and manage 250 products and services, from messaging and ring tones to mobile data services with tiered volume packages and multiple payment styles. So the operator deployed Orga Systems’ NGCP to provide one unified real-time charging and billing platform. NGCP’s modular approach is easier to install and use, provides better integration and has a higher performance, making it much more cost-efficient for life:) and a better service for the operator’s customers.

Advanced Connectivity award

A leading car manufacturer partnered with Orga Systems on a project to provide in-car service and mobility innovations which improve driver experience. OS.Automotive will enable the manufacturer to launch and bill for everything from navigation, travel assistance, rich mobility services to on-board infotainment. OS.Automotive can support car manufacturers to launch, enable, incentivise and monetise innovative in-vehicle services. The solution is based on Orga Systems’ end-to-end BSS/OSS (Business and Operations Support System) for the automotive industry and includes catalogue-driven Order Management and Customer Care for the next generation in-vehicle services.
