Since 2012, OrganoWood AB manufactures and markets OrganoWood®-modified wood with effective fire and rot protection and with a unique water repellent technology. The wood is an eco-friendly alternative to the traditional pressure treated timber decking and OrganoWood® is recommended by Swedish Byggvarubedömningen and SundaHus. In 2014, OrganoWood®-modified wood won Nordbyggs gold medal for “the Hottest new building material of the year” and the company´s wood treatment system was the first wood protection products in Sweden to be awarded with the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation's eco-label "Good Environmental Choice"

-          "Maxbo has a solid position in the Norwegian market with over 60 Maxbo building supply stores, MAXBO supermarkets and MAXBO Proff. To rapidly increase the number of retailers in Norway is an important piece of the puzzle in the OrganoWood®'s strategy for 2018." says Jens Hamlin, CEO of OrganoWood.

Architects, builders, landscape designers, and other professionals are attracted by OrganoWood® for many different reasons. Some falls for the beautiful silver-grey surface share, that appears after approximately a year of weather exposed wood. Others want a toxic-free outdoor environment for children, some need flame retardant facades with proper fire ratings, the benefits are many and the applications endless.
