We are very pleased that our work to bring OrganoWood's products to export markets is being highlighted. OrganoWood works with green chemistry and environmentally friendly products and we are very proud that our products contribute to a better environment and increased sustainable growth even outside Sweden's borders.

For several years, OrganoWood has collaborated with Business Sweden to reach out to the export market and contribute to sustainable growth globally.

We are also pleased that this award coincides in time with the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, which in 2021 went to Benjamin List and David W.C. MacMillan "for the development of asymmetric organocatalysis.", Which is exactly what OrganoWood's chemistry is about, how to bind silicon-based substances to fibers

OrganoWood has recently launched a completely new generation of sustainable and eco-labeled wood. Our innovation work to create a product completely free of heavy metals and biocides has recently resulted in the second generation of completely non-toxic wood. The new Silicium HT is produced in a green production that imitates nature's own processes by combining heat and silicon in a non-toxic production.

“We believe that OrganoWood has been nominated for this award for our efforts to bring a Swedish innovation product to export markets. Something that has contributed to increased growth for us at OrganoWood which also promotes Swedish exports.

An important part of our recipe for success to increase exports as a small company has been our collaboration with Business Sweden. We know that in order to succeed in export markets, we have been required to be focused, to work in a structured manner and to be active with our customers. We have a strategy to increase our sales in export markets and we have actively worked with this strategy. We have worked for many years to educate and teach the market about the importance of working with green chemistry.” - Jens Hamlin, CEO OrganoWood
