Orkla has entered into an agreement with the company Evry to lease office premises at Nedre Skøyen vei 26 in Oslo.

The purpose is to group most of Orkla's operations in the Oslo area under the same roof. In the autumn of 2013, Orkla's Corporate Centre and the headquarters of the Orkla companies Lilleborg, Lilleborg Profesjonell, Nidar, Sætre, KiMs, Pierre Robert Group and Axellus will be grouped at a single location. The lease at Nedre Skøyen vei 26 will run until the scheduled completion of Orkla's new headquarters at Drammensveien 149 and 151.

All in all, the real estate projects entailing the grouping of Orkla operations in Nedre Skøyen vei and the construction of a new headquarters in Drammensveien will generate a gain for Orkla, estimated at between NOK 250 and 300 million.

"Concentrating Orkla's Oslo operations at one location is an important factor in the Group's strategic development. We want to gather as many of our activities as possible in the Oslo area already now. This will facilitate greater interaction and exchange of experience across our companies, business areas and corporate functions," says President and CEO Åge Korsvold.

Work has begun on the process of finding alternative applications and solutions for Orkla's office premises at Sandakerveien 56.

"We are freeing up office buildings at Sandaker with considerable development potential. At the same time, we are bringing the Corporate Centre and the companies together in one place in modern, physically attractive office premises centrally located in Skøyen. We are certain that this will be a good solution for the period until our new headquarters is ready," says Korsvold.

Nedre Skøyen vei 26 is a modern, flexible office building with an area of 18,600 square metres. The building has a conference room centre, a large canteen, a gymnasium with changing rooms and parking spaces for more than 250 cars. The office building is located just a five minutes' walk from the Skøyen station for buses, trams, trains and the Airport Express Train.

Stabburet's organisation at Mastemyr will not be affected by the move to Nedre Skøyen vei 26.
