New Business Area President for Sapa Heat Transfer
Johan Menckel, has been appointed Business Area President for Sapa Heat Transfer from 1 February 2012. He will succeed Michael Mononen, who has decided to pursue new challenges outside the Sapa Group. Michael will be released from his duties as of 1 December 2011 and in the interim period all business matters concerning Sapa Heat Transfer should be directed to the CEO of Sapa, Svein Tore Holsether.
In his new role, Johan Menckel will report to Svein Tore Holsether, and continue to be a part of the Corporate Management Team.

Johan Menckel has a Master of Science in Industrial Economics from Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. After his studies he worked as a Consultant and Manager at Accenture. In 2004 he joined Sapa as Management Trainee and spent two years in Sapa Heat Transfer Finspång, responsible for Customer Value Management and as Global Key Account Manager. In 2006 he moved to Sapa Heat Transfer in Shanghai and became the MD of that operation in 2007. Since January 2010, Johan has been Business Area President Profiles Asia.
