Bente Brevik will succeed Jan Ove Rivenes, who is to become Managing Director of Orkla Brands Nordic. This change will take effect on 18 February 2008.

 

Bente Brevik has a degree in Business Economics from the Norwegian School of Management. She has been Managing Director of Nidar since 1999 and has headed the company during a period of good growth and value creation. Since 2004, she has also been a member of Orkla's Group Management Team, in which she will continue to participate.

 

Bente started out at Nidar in 1996 as head of its chain sales managers, and was appointed Sales Director in 1998. She also has experience from Varta Batteri and SCJohnson, where she was Marketing Manager and Product Category Manager, respectively.
