Orkla ASA: Lilleborg AS subject to investigation by the Norwegian Competition Authority

The Norwegian Competition Authority has today, 12 November 2019, on the basis of a ruling by Bergen city court dated 6 November 2019, commenced an inspection at Lilleborg AS (Orkla Home & Personal Care Norway), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Orkla ASA. According to the competition authorities, there is suspicion of breach of the competition act related to commercial terms between suppliers and the retail chains in the Norwegian market. Lilleborg assists the authorities in order to facilitate an efficient completion of the investigations.
