Under the agreement, OFI takes over 100% of the shares in Kobo, with effect from
2 April 2012. The seller is Boguslaw Kochanczyk.

Kobo is a sales and distribution company of bakery and confectionery ingredients mainly for the artisan bakery segment. The company was founded in 1988 by the Kochanczyk family, and is located in the city of Nisko in the southeastern part of Poland.

In 2011, the company had a turnover of approx. EUR 4.4 million and 20 employees.

"This acquisition is in line with the growth strategy of OFI and enlarges our market position in this region. Together with Merkur, bought in 2010, and Sebmag, acquired in February 2012, Kobo will further strengthen our sales and distribution organisation in Poland," says Vitor Silva, CEO of Credin Group.

Vitor Silva will be the chairman of the board, while Dariusz Dzik will become the managing director of the company.
