Orkla’s acquisition of Icelands leading chocolate company completed

In its press release of 5 May 2021, it was announced that Orkla has entered into an agreement to purchase Nói-Siríus HF (“Nói Siríus”), which is the leading manufacturer of chocolate and confectionery on Iceland.

The transaction has been approved by relevant competition authorities and was completed today. Noi Sirius will be consolidated into Orkla's financial statements as of 1 June 2021.
