Orkla's sale of forests to Statskog completed

 We refer to our stock exchange notification of 25 October 2010 regarding the sale of Orkla's forests to Statskog SF.

 On 15 December 2010, the Norwegian Storting approved the issue of loans and capital contributions to Statskog, and the transaction has already been approved by the competition authorities. The agreement to sell the wholly-owned forest companies Borregaard Skoger AS, AS Børresen and Borregaard Vafos AS to Statskog for a total of NOK 1,725 million was completed today.
