Ortivus appointed supplier on the UK Government G-Cloud Framework

Ortivus UK Ltd provides cloud services under the UK government’s G-Cloud framework.

This means that public sector organizations will be able to procure Ortivus’ MobiMed Smart System from the Cloud Software category of G-Cloud 9.

G-Cloud is a government initiative that aims to provide a single repository of cloud-based IT services for use by public sector organizations, through Digital Marketplace – an online marketplace for cloud IT services. The move is designed to drive the wider adoption of cloud computing in the public sector and deliver a more efficient, competitive and cost-effective way of buying IT services.

Staffan Eriksson, CEO at Ortivus believes this to be an important step, opening up another procurement route for regional authorities. “Our successful application on the G-Cloud framework enables us to meet the market demand for a state-of-the art Ambulance ePR under convenient procurement and operational conditions.”

MobiMed Smart provides paramedics with an electronic Patient Care Record, ePCR, using a structured workflow and support that enhances the clinical decision making process. The ePCR in combination with vital signs monitoring ensures that the patient gets the right care, at the right time, in the right place.

In addition to being available via G-Cloud as Cloud Software, Ortivus MobiMed Smart is also available as a locally-hosted solution.
