Ortivus has received its largest order to date in Sweden for telemedical systems for patient monitoring in ambulances The county council in Skåne has decided to equip the region's ambulances and cardiac intensive care units with Ortivus' patient monitoring system, Mobimed. Initially, the order, which is the largest procurement so far in Sweden of ambulance ECG-equipment, comprises 53 ambulances and 5 hospitals. The equipment will be installed during the coming fall. This order means that Ortivus further consolidates its position as the leading company in the Swedish market for telemedicine, medical informatics and decision support involving treatment of acute ischemic heart disease. Almost half of Sweden's ambulances are now equipped with the Mobimed system. Far-reaching discussions are currently in progress in Sweden with several county councils and hospitals regarding new orders for systems and equipment, as well as upgrading of existing systems for patient monitoring. Ortivus is participating in several public procurements in the other Nordic countries and Britain. Ortivus develops, manufactures and markets systems and components for medical informatics and decision support in the areas of acute heart disease and pre-hospital care, as well as analysis and support in connection with investigations of sleep disorders, epilepsy and other neurological conditions. Ortivus is listed on the O-list of the OM Stockholm Stock Exchange.
