Ortivus wins contract to equip 110 ambulances with the pre-hospital eHealth platform MobiMed

Ortivus have been awarded a framework agreement to equip the ambulance organization of the region “Västra Götaland” with Ortivus MobiMed – a pre-hospital eHealth solution enabling faster and more accurate and efficient treatment of the patient.

The region located on the Swedish west coast is the largest single customer in Sweden with a total of 110 ambulances, and a new customer to Ortivus. The Agreement will run for 5 years with possibilities for extension and includes, in addition to MobiMed software and hardware, defibrillators, installation, training and service. Delivery of the system will start during 2009.

Ortivus MobiMed is an eHealth solution for pre-hospital clinical and operational process development, quality assurance and audit. It enables efficient decision support, information management and optimized pre-hospital eHealth processes. The platform includes modules for monitoring, advanced communication, telemedicine, electronic patient record, checklists and clinical guidelines. MobiMed can also be integrated with 3rd party systems such as Hospital Information Systems and dispatch systems.

The contract has been awarded in accordance with the public procurement law, LOU, and will follow its process for signing of contract.
