Debitel Germany selects Opera Mini for mobile Web push

Oslo, Norway - May 26, 2008 - Opera Software today announced that it has signed an agreement with one of Germany's leading mobile service providers, the debitel Group. Under the terms of the agreement, debitel will pre-install a customized version of the mobile browser Opera Mini on selected handsets as well as making it available as a download over the air (OTA). The deal covers Germany, where debitel has more than 13 million customers.

The debitel Group is the largest independent telecommunications provider in Germany. The Group offers a complete portfolio of innovative services, within mobile networks, DSL networks and entertainment. debitel has operations in Germany, France, Denmark, the Netherlands and Slovenia.

The agreement between Opera Software and the debitel Group includes license, development, support & maintenance and server-hosting fees.
