Exercise of employee share options in Opera Software ASA - Issuance of new shares

Reference is made to the stock exchange dated 13 March regarding exercise of employee options. In order to be able to deliver shares following exercise of employee options, the Board has resolved to issue 90,644 new shares. The subscription price per share is NOK 20.28 which represents the average strike price for the options exercised. Existing shareholders' preferential right to subscribe for new shares has been set aside in order for Opera to deliver shares to employees exercising options. The shares will give shareholder rights as from the time the shares are registered with the Register of Business Enterprises.
Following registration of the share capital increase, the registered share capital of Opera Software ASA will be NOK 2,434,266.64, divided into 121,713,332 shares, each having a face value of NOK 0.02.
