Grant of options

Oslo, Norway - January 12, 2009 - The Board of Directors has granted the following primary insider options in the Board meeting on January 6, 2009:

Lars Boilesen, Director of the Board and a primary insider, 550 000 options under the Company's standard option program with first tranche March 2010 and with a strike price equal to the market price on the day of the board meeting (NOK 17.70).
After this, Boilesen holds 600 000 options. Lars Boilesen has joined Opera Software as Chief Commercial Officer.
