Grant of options

Oslo January 5, 2010 - The Board of Directors has granted the following primary insiders options in the Board meeting on January 4, 2009: Lars Boilesen, Chief Executive Officer, 1,200,000 options exercisable over four years with a strike price equal to the market price on January 4 (NOK 19.90). After this, Boilesen holds 1,780,000 options. Jon S. von Tetzchner, Co-Founder, 1,000,000 options exercisable over three years with a strike price equal to the market price on January 4 (NOK 19.90). After this, von Tetzchner owns 15,999,742 shares in Opera Software ASA through Mozart Invest AS which is wholly owned by Jon S. von Tetzchner and holds 1,000,000 options.
