Grant of options

Oslo March 14, 2011 - The Board of Directors has granted the following primary insiders options on March 11, 2011:

Andreas Thome, EVP Sales, 240,000 options exercisable over four years with a strike price equal to the market price on March 11 (NOK 28.00). After this, the employee holds 0 shares in Opera Software ASA and 605,000 options.

Jason Hoida, General Counsel, 50,000 options exercisable over four years with a strike price equal to the market price on March 11 (NOK 28.00). After this, the employee holds 4,983 shares in Opera Software ASA and 139,000 options.

All options were granted pursuant to the terms and conditions of Opera's standard option agreement
