Opera delivers the Web on 12 new phones for KDDI

Oslo, Norway - June 10, 2008 - Opera Software today announced that the Opera Mobile browser will be shipped on 12 new mobile phones in KDDI's featured 2008 spring series. KDDI is Japan's leading 3G operator.

KDDI's spring series will provide a full-featured Web browsing experience on new and enhanced handset models running on the BREW platform. Due to Opera's long-term partnership with KDDI, 82 KDDI phones now run Opera's mobile Web browser, and 13 of these devices are enhanced with "au one Gadgets". au one Gadgets, or Opera Widgets, enable users to download their favorite Gadgets from KDDI and run them from the phone's idle screen. This serves as an easy way for users to get a quick update of preferred content immediately upon opening their phones.

The Opera Mobile browser will be included on the following BREW-based devices for KDDI`s spring series:
- Hitachi W62H (with au one Gadgets)
- Sharp W62SH (with au one Gadgets)
- Sanyo W63SA (with au one Gadgets)
- Toshiba Sportio (with au one Gadgets)
- Casio W62CA (with au one Gadgets)
- Sanyo W64SA (with au one Gadgets)
- Toshiba W62T (with au one Gadgets)
- Sony Ericsson re
- Kyocera W64K
- Kyocera W62K
- Kyocera W63K
- Pantech W62PT

Opera Software will receive royalties in accordance with the software licensing agreement between Opera and KDDI.
