Opera Software ASA Notice of Annual General Meeting - update

Under the current stock option program for the Company, a total of
5,997,748 options can still be granted to employees of the Company. The
Board has asked shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on 15 June
2010 to approve that remaining options under the current program for
2010 and 2011 can be granted without applying a maximum annual grant of
3,000,000 options. Please see item 13 to the calling notice dated 25
May 2010. The Board of Directors has resolved today that a maximum of
3,000,000 new options can be granted under the current program,
decreasing the number of remaining options by 2,997,748. Outstanding
number of options as at 31 December 2009 was 7,202,892. During 2010,
2,230,000 have been granted, whereas 529,629 options have been
exercised and 317,976 options have terminated. This leaves as total of
8,585,287 as of today. When adding a potential 3,000,000 further
options, the maximum dilution effect will be 9.7%.
