Swisscom selects Opera Mini

Oslo, Norway - July 3, 2008 - Opera Software today announced that it has signed an agreement with a leading mobile phone operator, Swisscom. Under the terms of the agreement, Swisscom will deploy a customized version of the mobile browser Opera Mini.

Swisscom is Switzerland's leading telecoms provider, with 5 million mobile customers, around 5.3 million fixed lines including 1.6 million broadband connections. The company has a presence throughout Switzerland and offers a full range of products and services for mobile, landline and IP-based voice and data communication.

The agreement between Opera Software and Swisscom includes license, development, support & maintenance and server-hosting.
