Usen Corporation selects Opera browser for set-top boxes

Oslo, Norway - June 17, 2008 - Opera Software today announced that it has signed an agreement with Usen Corporation. Under the
terms of the agreement, Usen has licensed the Opera 9.5 SDK for Devices to make the Opera Web browser available on a new range of
set-top boxes aimed at the mass consumer market. Users will be able to access Web content via the Opera browser.

USEN CORPORATION is the leading company in the Japanese domestic cable broadcasting market,
boasting the largest market share and a frontrunner in the broadband era.

Opera Software will receive license, support and development fees in
accordance with the agreement between Opera and the customer.
