OtterBox Provides Access to Education through eLearning Initiative

Cork, Ireland- OtterBox®, the No 1 selling case for smartphones in the U.S*, has been selected as the case of choice for the Pleckgate High School eLearning initiative. As part of this initiative, the school is to give each of its 1400 students an Apple® iPad Mini®.

The High School is the first in the UK to issue iPad minis worth over £260 to students to improve educational development. The OtterBox Defender Series®** was chosen from a selection of 12 different cases to offer optimum protection for the schools investment.

The eLearning initiative provides pupils with access to modern technologies that will allow them to learn independently. The scheme will also improve student/ teacher interaction which has been proven to accelerate learning.

Pleckgate is also the first school in their region to become an Apple Regional Training Center and as part of that program; they will receive support and training on Apple products.
